SHAYS REBELLION!

Hello my great students!!!  I hope you are working hard this Monday and behaving!!

So here is what you need to do for this activity:

Get into your table groups and research and answer the following:

What was the Shays Rebellion and what were its effects?       Please write a summary as a group and list at least two effects of this rebellion.   Please hand in your finished paper into Mr. Crisman


The summary should not be only 2 sentences. :)

    Project Proposal Starter sheet!!!!!

    Use this to help you get started on your 1st draft of Project Proposals which are due Monday Oct 24.


    Project Proposal

    I. Introduction

    What is your project? Briefly describe what you will do.




    Describe the product you will create.





    What do you hope to learn through this work?
       



    II. Authenticity

    Why you are interested in this? Why have you chosen this project?





    How will your project or product be used by someone?





    Will this project/product benefit your Internship site? How will it be used?
       



    III. Academic Rigor

    How does your project challenge you as a learner; what new knowledge will you gain? (This is where you can get specific with Standards, critical thinking skills, etc.)




    What guiding/framing/essential (whichever word your staff uses) question do you have around this work?



    What sub-questions will help you answer this guiding/framing/essential question (10-15 sub-questions)?

    alabama schools.

    What is the debate that is taking place in Alabama?




    How would you feel if you had a son or daughter who was enrolled at a school?  even if your child was a citizen what would you think?  what actions would you take?


    Can you see a solution to the immigration debate?  No right or wrong answer.

    Journal Entry:  What is a place outside the the US that you would love to to visit?  Look at the World map if need be? Why that specific place?  what fascinates you about it?  Is it the people the language the food?  explain in detail..write in journal.
